We successfully completed our panel on the Geopolitics of East Med. Chargé d’affaires of Israel Roey Gilad and the TESPAM president made very interesting presentations. TESPAM Vice President Prof. Dr. Levent Kenar was the moderator. Ambassador Erciyes couldn’t attend the meeting due to an urgent official event in outside of the Country. In this panel, both speakers mentioned their intends for energy to be used as a leverage for peace and development in the region, instead of a conflict argument. The technical and commercial sights of the existing dynamics in the region were evaluated. Many international and national press members, academicians, students, diplomats and ambassadors attended the panel.
Hope together, with some additional surprise speakers, we are planning a wider event regarding with the region. We will declare the new event as soon as possible.

İsrail Maslahatgüzarı Roey Gilad, TESPAM Başkanı Oğuzhan Akyener’in sunumlarını yaptığı TESPAM Başkan Yardımcısı Prof. Dr Levent Kenar’ın moderatörlüğünü gerçekleştirdiği “East Med’in Jeopolitiği” konulu panel ulusal ve uluslararası basının yanı sıra birçok farklı ülkenin misyon şefleri ile büyükelçilerinin katılımı ile tamamlandı. Dışişleri Bakanlığını temsilen katılması planlanan Çağatay Erciyes’in geçerli mazeret bildirerek katılmaması sebebiyle panel enerji, ekonomik ve teknik boyutlarından ele alınarak gerçekleştirildi. Akademisyen ve konunun takipçisi öğrencilerin de katılımıyla oldukça verimli geçen panel sonrasında hatıra fotoğrafı çektirildi.
